To ring in the holiday season, Les Violons du Roy recorded Noëls baroques (Baroque Christmas) in November at the Palais Montcalm, under the direction of founding conductor Bernard Labadie.

The concert may be seen free and on demand on the orchestra’s YouTube channel, starting Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy the orchestra’s music, immersed in the magic of Christmas, for three weeks, until Jan. 3.

The program consists of pieces from the ensemble’s debut album, Symphonies des noëls, which came out in 1994 and was rereleased in 2016. It includes music by Charpentier, Torelli, Handel, Pez and Corelli. To learn more, visit
